		<description>Vinyl leaches chemicals linked to cancer and other diseases. Plus, it cannot be recycled, and it poses high environmental risk when being produced. It releases mercury, dioxins and pthalates into the environment.

So, it&#039;s bad both for your health and the environment. And btw, I&#039;m just talking about vinyl, which I don&#039;t use for cooking my food obviously. If I am using plastic for food storage, microwave, etc. I use PP, PE end PET.  

As I said, I&#039;m trying to avoid it, wish I could get rid of it 100% but I cannot. So, for things I can, I will...</description>
